J&J Yachting was founded by Jure Jaušovec. Jure started sailing at the age of 8 on biggest artificial lake on river Drava in Slovenia. Soon after he started to race in dinghies like Optimist and years later in Laser classes on National and International levels. While studying medicine in University of Maribor he didn’t want to leave his sailing career behind therefore he moved up to become a professional skipper. After graduating in medicine, as a medical doctor he focused on working in occupational medicine. Many years and charters sailing on the seas all the way from French Polynesia, Bahamas, Caribbean and everywhere in Mediterranean, if you will not find him in the clinic where he treats his patients, you will most likely find him smiling and sailing somewhere at a sea.
As a perfectionist he launched J&J Yachting just because after working in nautical industry he figured out that charter trips and nautical vacations could be organised better, more customer friendly and more efficiently with better final results: having a satisfied happy guests, who love to return back and enjoy on their unique yachting trips with their loved ones all around the world.
