Ionian route

Highlights of this route:


  • visit towns of Lekfada and Preveza;
  • visit beautiful Paxos and Antipaxos (white sand beaches, home to olive groves and vineyards);
  • visit most northern Greek island of Corfu (influenced by Venetians, the French and the English therefore has a cosmopolitan, multicultural charm);
  • island of Ithaca (the mythical birthplace of Odysseus);
  • island of Kefalonia (spend an evening in historical harbour of Fiskardo and later visit Melissani Cave);
  • island of Zakynthos (there is much more to see here than just a famous “Shipwreck Beach” = Paralia Navagio).

 

Hint: due to big distances you might need to take a 2 weeks trip or charter a motor yacht for a week to see it all.

Saronic route

Highlights of this route:


  • overlooked by historical Acropolis and iconic Parthenon temple, Athens has an extraordinary amount to offer in the way of history, culture and art;
  • island of Aegina (easy going character of typical Greek island);
  • island of Poros (built in the shape of an amphitheatre over two hills);
  • islands of Spetses (ready for some ATV action around the island?);
  • island of Hydra (mules, horses and donkeys are used as a public transportation, lovely old port).

  • island of Halki (smallest inhabited island of Dodecanese with population just above 300 people only);
  • island of Nisyros (visit the youngest Greek volcano);
